7 BEST ALL-IN-ONE DESKTOP COMPUTERS OF 2021

All-in-one desktops have plenty of appeal due to their versatile, space-saving design, as well as their easy setup. Thankfully, you can choose between feature-packed options running on all major platforms — Windows 10, macOS, and Chrome OS.

Some of today’s best PC options take the “all-in-one” moniker to a whole new level by being great at, well, everything. We spent more than a week scrutinizing today’s latest desktop computers to find the best worth buying.

BEST ALL-IN-ONE DESKTOP COMPUTERS

HOW WE CHOSE

We evaluated all-in-one desktop computers by considering hardware specs, design, additional noteworthy features, as well as price.

When it comes to hardware, we looked for options with futureproof processors and upgradeable memory so that buyers don’t have to think about making a switch for years. The specs are typically tied to the product’s pricing, so the more you spend, the longer the upgrade cycle will likely be.

Because the screen is the centerpiece of every all-in-one desktop, we made sure to include products that offer sharp and vibrant displays with wide viewing angles. Some of today's top-rated products have touch-sensitive panels, too, as well as the ability use the screen as an external displays with your gaming console or streaming player.

Sound is also a crucial factor. The best all-in-one computers will ensure that you don't have to spend extra on desktop speakers to enjoy content with better audio quality.

All products on this list ship with a keyboard and a mouse, so you're ready to go the moment you open the box. These are the best all-in-one desktop computers to buy in 2021.

HP Pavilion 27 All-in-One Desktop Computer

The latest HP Pavilion with a 27-inch display is the best all-in-one desktop PC for most consumers. Given HP’s track record in this product category, that’s hardly a surprise. Beyond its impossibly elegant design with ultra thin display bezels, the desktop boasts futureproof hardware specs (including upgradeable memory) and top-notch performance, all at an agreeable price point.

I like that the display panel of the HP Pavilion is touch-sensitive, giving users more options to interact with the onscreen content. Its retractable webcam is also quite convenient. The desktop’s B&O-tuned stereo speakers complement the display perfectly.

HP also offers a variant of the Pavilion all-in-one desktop with a more compact 24-inch touchscreen.

Lenovo IdeaCentre AIO 3 All-in-One Desktop Computer

The Lenovo IdeaCentre AIO 3 proves you can get a dependable all-in-one desktop without breaking the bank. It has elegant design, respectable hardware, and reliable performance. Best of all, the product costs well below $600.

I really like the IdeaCentre AIO 3’s space-saving design with a minimalist metal stand and a screen with a slim top and side bezels. The stand is easily adjustable, and thankfully, equipped with a clever cable organizer.

The AIO 3's screen has vibrant colors and wide viewing angles. However, be mindful that it isn't touch-sensitive in this variant of the desktop. The product’s built-in webcam has a privacy shutter that’s quite convenient, though I kinda wish it had a higher resolution than HD.

For around $150 more, Lenovo offers an AIO 3 variant with beefier Ryzen 5 chip, as well as more onboard RAM and SSD storage. At $699, the product is still an excellent option for budget-conscious shoppers.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 3 4300U (quad-core)
Graphics: AMD Radeon Graphics
Display: 23.8-inch Full HD IPS display (1,920 by 1,080 pixels)

Apple iMac All-in-One Desktop with 5K Retina Display

Apple has a lot of top-notch desktop computers, but the latest 27-inch iMac with 5K Retina display is our current favorite. Fresh off a welcome hardware update, it features an elegant all-metal body, more powerful hardware with faster storage, and a super set of connectivity features.

With an upgraded FaceTime camera and audio hardware, the iMac is an even more capable tool for teleconferencing. The newcomer, like its predecessor, will be the gold standard for all-in-one desktop computers.

The new iMac's 5K Retina display with True Tone tech is in a league of its own. It is stunningly sharp, incredibly bright, and capable of delivering exceptionally accurate colors. You can order the iMac with optional nano-texture glass, which makes the viewing experience even better, regardless of the ambient lighting.

In case you find the 27-inch iMac a tad too big, consider the more affordable 21.5-inch variant with a 4K Retina display. Apple upgraded it with faster storage as well.

CPU: 10th-generation Intel Core i5 (six-core)
Graphics: Radeon Pro 5300
Display: 27-inch 5K display (5,120 by 2,880 pixels)

Acer Chromebase 24 All-in-One Desktop Computer

The Acer Chromebase 24 is a great option for Chrome OS users looking for a big-screen experience. Coupled with 8GB of RAM, the device's Intel Core i3 processor is plenty powerful to handle all the productivity and entertainment tasks that Google's platform can offer. A variant with a speedier Intel Core i5 processor is also available.

This variant of the Chromebase 24 is equipped with a touchscreen panel, thus allowing users to interact with a multitude of Android apps. Acer offers a more reasonably priced version without a touchscreen as well.

The Acer Chromebase also packs a Full HD webcam and two high-quality microphones for seamless video conferencing.

CPU: Intel Core i3 processor (dual-core)
Graphics: Intel UHD Graphics 620
Display: 23.8-inch Full HD IPS touchscreen (1,920 by 1,080 pixels)

HP ENVY 32 All-in-One Desktop PC

The feature-packed HP ENVY 32 is the ultimate all-in-one desktop PC, thanks to an incredible design, as well as enough power and features to appeal to even the most discerning users. It's the one to get if your budget has no restrictions.

Powered by an NVIDIA graphics chip, the ENVY 32 is also an impressively capable gaming rig. It even has an insanely convenient, wireless smartphone charger built into its stand.

The vast and vibrant, truly spectacular 4K screen of the desktop alone makes it worth buying. The HDR-compatible display has support for an ultra wide color gamut and a peak brightness of 600 nits, making every interaction feel like a special occasion.

Best of all, the screen is complemented by Bang & Olufsen-tuned speakers, whose sound is the best I’ve heard from a desktop computer to date.

CPU: 10th-generation Intel Core i7 CPU (eight-core)
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 1650
Display: 31.5-inch 4K IPS display (3,840 by 2,160 pixels)

Acer Aspire C27 All-in-One Desktop PC

The Acer Aspire C27 all-in-one desktop is our favorite under $1,000. It has an elegant design, robust hardware specs with NVIDIA graphics chip and upgradeable memory, and a performance to match.

In addition to impressively wide viewing angles, the big screen of the Aspire C27 has clever built-in tech to protect your eyes during prolonged use. It includes protection against harmful blue light, as well as flickering, but it isn't touch-sensitive.

The webcam of the Aspire C27 has a built-in privacy cover. However, we wish that it had a higher resolution than basic HD. The desktop's stereo speakers are also not on the same level as those of its HP rivals.

Acer also offers an Aspire C24 all-in-one desktop with the same design, but an even more compact footprint with a 24-inch display. It is not as capable hardware-wise, but it is considerably more affordable.

CPU: 10th-generation Intel Core i5 (quad-core)
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce MX130 Graphics
Display: 27-inch Full HD IPS display (1,920 by 1,080 pixels)
Memory: 12GB of RAM; 512GB SSD
Connectivity: Two USB-A 3.1 ports, two USB-A 2.0 ports, HDMI port
Other: HD webcam, stereo speakers, bundled wireless keyboard and mouse

This HP All-in-One 22 Series iteration is the most compact and affordable option on this list. Its 21.5-inch display panel with thin bezels and a slim metal stand make it an ideal desktop computer for smaller spaces.

With an entry-level AMD chip and 4GB of RAM on board, the product is best suited for casual use and light productivity work. Thankfully, those who need better multitasking capabilities can upgrade the device’s memory.

We like that, just like pricier HP desktops, the All-in-One 22 Series has a pop-up webcam for enhanced privacy. You can also order an even more affordable variant of the desktop with Intel Celeron chip.

CPU: AMD Athlon Silver 3050U (dual-core)
